Multimodal to Co-Locate with Warehouse. and Yard. in 2026, Forming the UK’s Most Comprehensive Logistics Event
In a move set to transform the UK logistics and supply chain exhibition landscape, Multimodal will co-locate for the first time with Warehouse. (formerly IWLEX) and Yard. (formerly YARDX) at the NEC Birmingham in 2026 — creating an unrivalled showcase of end-to-end logistics, transport, warehousing, and site operations.
Held in adjacent halls with seamless internal walkthroughs, the new co-located format also includes the E-Delivery Expo, and brings together four distinct yet complementary event brands — offering visitors a unified, immersive experience across the full logistics spectrum.
Now entering its 18th year, Multimodal has established itself as a trusted platform for the UK’s freight, transport, logistics, and supply chain community. The event is renowned for bringing together shippers, 3PLs, carriers, port operators, and supply chain technology providers, and for tackling key themes such as modal shift, decarbonisation, supply chain resilience, and last-mile innovation.
As part of this new collaboration, each co-located event will retain its own strong identity and focus:
-
- Multimodal – Freight, transport, logistics, and last-mile delivery
-
- Warehouse. – Intralogistics, automation, materials handling, and warehouse operations
-
- Yard. – Yard safety, materials handling, outdoor storage, and infrastructure
-
- E-Delivery Expo – E-commerce and fulfilment technologies (as part of Multimodal)
The move also coincides with two strategic rebrands:
-
- IWLEX becomes Warehouse., with a refined focus on warehouse innovation, operational excellence, and intralogistics.
-
- YARDX becomes Yard., the UK’s only dedicated platform for yard operations, site flow, and external logistics infrastructure.
Together, these events form the UK’s most complete supply chain and logistics exhibition destination — connecting stakeholders from across the sector in one location, for three days of insight, innovation, and industry collaboration.
