Alteryx, Inc., a leading AI and data analytics company, has unveiled its latest raft of updates to the Alteryx One platform, bringing together enhanced governance capabilities and new agentic AI features to help users move faster, stay in control and get more value from the platform. The updates enable users of the Alteryx One platform to speed up their daily work and integrate AI into Alteryx workflows more naturally, building trust in AI without compromising speed of working.

Governance: Transparency and Control across AI-Powered Workflows

As organizations accelerate their use of AI and analytics beyond pilots, maintaining trust in data powering decisions is mission-critical. The latest Alteryx One release helps organizations with this by introducing data lineage capabilities through integrations with leading data governance and platforms:

  • Integrations for enterprise-grade governance: New connections with leading data catalogues Atlan and Collibra offer full traceability of the data journey – from origin to outcome. By linking outputs to sources, data lineage ensures explainable and auditable analytics and AI systems, which is particularly useful in the management of sensitive data and risk management around analytics workflows.
  • Simplification of governance: Expanded administrative controls, including role-based permissions, SCIM provisioning, audit logging, and in-app visibility enhancements are introduced to give Alteryx One administrators oversight of how the platform is being used internally.
  • AI oversight: New custom administrator roles control who can connect to large language models and who can run or review AI-assisted analyses. Additionally, setting an owned Azure AI instance to Alteryx One as the approved model for Alteryx Auto Insights is now possible.

“Enterprises need clear visibility into their data origin to enable trusted, AI-driven decision making,” said Ben Canning, Chief Product Officer at Alteryx. “With our new data lineage integrations, Alteryx workflows become fully integrated components of the enterprise data ecosystem. By connecting with leading governance platforms, we’re giving organizations the transparency and control required to manage their most critical data and processes responsibly. This strengthens the foundation for scaling AI with confidence, backed by trusted, enterprise-grade governance.”

“AI only works when humans and agents can trust the data behind it,” said Mark Pavletich, Vice President of Product and Ecosystem at Atlan. “Atlan’s partnership with Alteryx gives teams a clear view of how data moves through the analytic and AI supply chain and across Alteryx One. This enables teams to move quickly with Alteryx’s AI-powered analytics while bringing context, meaning, and governance together in Atlan to form a stronger foundation for AI.”

Agentic AI: Building toward the Era of Agentic Analytics

Previously announced Alteryx Copilot, the in-product AI partner in Alteryx One, is now generally available, allowing users to use AI to speed up onboarding, answer questions in real time and build workflows faster. Key new capabilities include:

  • Expanded Designer compatibility with popular LLMs: General availability of new GenAI tools in Designer means LLMs from the likes of OpenAI, Gemini and Anthropic can be seamlessly integrated into data prep and blend work.
  • Contextual data sampling: Alteryx Copilot can now run workflows and pull in data as added context, with enhanced edit and delete tools for visibility and control while using AI to build workflows.
  • Workflow summary tool: New feature generates descriptions of what Alteryx Copilot workflows are doing, improving documentation, supporting SOX compliance and communicating and auditing processes.

“The latest innovations in this release are designed to do more than make analytics faster and workflows smarter; they represent a foundation for the future era of agentic analytics,” said Ben Canning, Chief Product Officer at Alteryx. “I’m excited about this next evolution of analytics, where intelligent agents will orchestrate entire workflows, surface insights in context, and help your organization make confident, data-driven decisions at scale.”
