Oraczen, the global cutting-edge AI solutions platform, has today announced the launch of Scorpio, its next-generation agentic procurement platform, marking a significant evolution from decision intelligence to autonomous procurement execution. Scorpio is designed to help procurement organizations move beyond systems that simply recommend actions towards AI agents capable of carrying out procurement tasks autonomously.
The launch comes as agentic AI rapidly gains momentum across enterprise operations. Gartner predicts that by 2028, 90% of B2B buying will be intermediated by AI agents, while by 2030 agents are expected to handle the majority of operational procurement work. At the same time, organisations that achieve Hackett’s Digital World Class standard deliver 2.6 times greater ROI than their peers while operating with 31% fewer FTEs and 19% lower cost.
Scorpio has been developed to help organizations prepare for this shift by introducing a fundamentally different approach to procurement technology.
Rather than telling procurement teams what they should do, Scorpio asks a different question: “Shall I do this for you?”
The platform enables organizations to deploy AI agents that can monitor supplier risk, autonomously manage procurement workflows, generate RFPs, place orders and execute additional procurement activities through a modular architecture that can be tailored to specific business requirements.
The latest release also significantly accelerates deployment timelines, reducing implementation and operational setup from approximately four weeks to less than one week.
In a further step towards making agentic procurement more accessible, Scorpio will be listed within both the Claude and ChatGPT marketplaces, with dedicated Claude and OpenAI integrations planned. This will enable users to interact directly with Scorpio’s procurement agents through conversational interfaces without needing to operate exclusively within the Oraczen platform.
Commenting on the launch, Madhukar Irvathraya, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Oraczen said: “Agentic procurement is the future. The world is moving towards a model where agents buy from agents, transforming how organizations source, negotiate and transact. Oraczen is uniquely positioned in this emerging market because we are building both sides of that equation – the buy side through Scorpio and the sell side through Auron. While the category is still in its early stages, new protocols, schemas and standards are evolving rapidly. We believe Oraczen is leading the charge in building the agentic foundations required for this once-in-a-generation shift in B2B commerce.”
The launch of Scorpio represents the latest milestone in Oraczen’s vision to build the infrastructure for autonomous procurement and commerce, helping organizations prepare for a future in which AI agents increasingly manage and execute business transactions on behalf of enterprises.
