Syspro, the industrial AI company for manufacturing and distribution, today announced that Fairline Yachts, the British luxury motor yacht manufacturer, has selected Syspro ERP and Syspro Torque, its industrial AI platform, to support operations from design and engineering through to aftersales.

Embracing advances in technology has long been central to how Fairline designs and builds its yachts. The company is now applying the same approach to how it runs the business, modernising its wider IT infrastructure to support the next chapter of its growth. Syspro cloud ERP is the cornerstone of that programme, bringing design, procurement, production, warehousing and aftersales onto one platform. Syspro Torque will add industrial AI capabilities, with every decision logged and under operator control.

“As part of our business modernisation, we needed an ERP platform with the depth to support every part of the organisation. We chose Syspro because it gives us that in one system, and the integrated Torque AI will make it easier and more efficient to use, letting us create reports and interrogate our data quickly and clearly. This will help us stay agile and make well-informed decisions, ultimately creating smoother, more efficient journeys for our teams, our customers and our suppliers,” said Adrian Smith, Head of Strategy, Performance and Innovation at Fairline Yachts.

Syspro ERP is designed for manufacturers and distributors, with nearly five decades of manufacturing and distribution expertise built in. For Fairline, that means engineering change control, bills of materials, material requirements planning, shop-floor management and quality management working from the same data. A design change flows through to purchasing and scheduling without being rekeyed or chased, and quality checks are recorded at every stage, so any issue can be traced back to its source, protecting the standard Fairline’s customers expect.

That manufacturing context is what makes AI valuable in an operational environment. An AI agent is only as good as its understanding of the operation it works in: what a bill of materials means, how a design change moves a build schedule, what a late supplier does to a delivery date. Syspro Torque is built on that context, so it understands how a manufacturer actually runs, which general-purpose AI tools do not.

Fairline joins the manufacturers and distributors already working with Syspro Torque. The platform is designed to help manufacturers introduce AI with appropriate governance, demonstrate its return, and expand its use as confidence grows.

“Fairline is exactly the kind of manufacturer we built Syspro for, and a sign of where manufacturing is heading,” said Leanne Taylor, CEO at Syspro. “One ERP connecting the whole business gives manufacturers a strong operational foundation. Torque builds on that, using manufacturing context to help people find the right information faster and make better decisions. We are proud to support an iconic British name with more than 60 years behind it.”

Syspro premium solutions partner HIT Technology will lead the implementation, working with the Fairline team to improve operations, streamline processes and support the company’s continued growth.

“We are proud that our approach to service and long-term partnership stood out to a brand with such high standards. Our team will work closely with Fairline to implement the platform across its operations and establish a strong foundation for its wider modernisation programme,” said Andrew Longland, Managing Director, HIT Technology.
