Arctic Wolf®, a leader in security operations, today announced an extension to the global cybersecurity partnership signed in March with Premier League football club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Minnesota-based company became the club’s first official cybersecurity partner earlier this year and will implement its cloud-native security operations platform across the team’s existing technology and security infrastructure. The new deal will continue the relationship for a further two years.

Arctic Wolf’s highly-trained security experts will continue to work with the club’s current global IT solutions partner, Silverbug Ltd., via Arctic Wolf’s Concierge Delivery Model® to provide 24×7 monitoring, detection and response, as well as ongoing risk management and security awareness training to give the protection, resilience, and guidance the club needs to defend against cyber threats.

The  Arctic Wolf® Security Operations Cloud was built from day one on an open XDR architecture to seamlessly ingests data from endpoint, network, identity, and cloud sources to deliver automated threat detection and response at scale. The ability of Arctic Wolf to unify an organisation’s security data, tools, and operations ensures only verified security incidents are escalated to customers, effectively eliminates alert fatigue, and provides internal security resources with the time needed to focus on hardening their overall security posture.

Russell Jones, General Manager, Marketing and Commercial Growth, Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club commented, “Following a successful partnership in 21/22, we are excited to extend our cyber security deal with Artic Wolf. As we look to push boundaries across digital products and services, it’s imperative that we are working with the best in the business. Access to Arctic Wolf’s industry leading cloud-native security platform continues to be central in enhancing our cyber security processes and protecting our fans from the threat of cyber-attacks.”

“We are very excited to continue our relationship with Wolverhampton Wanderers,” said Clare Loveridge, Vice President and General Manager, EMEA, Arctic Wolf.  “We all know that the threat from cyber-attacks is not reducing but rather is increasing so it’s never been more important for clubs around the world to secure that valuable and sensitive data.”
