PTV Group will be at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2022 with a focus on the smart use of data. The market leader for mobility and transport software empowers cities and traffic professionals, to achieve clarity in improving mobility – and adjust it to today’s needs. At the internationally renowned trade expo, which takes place from 29 March to 1 April, the company will be presenting its latest solutions for analyzing, evaluating, and visualizing data and its state-of-the-art tools for shaping sustainable, safe, and efficient mobility.
Visitors at PTV Group’s stand (216, hall 2) will discover how next-generation traffic management helps to improve traffic flow and capacity, and thus increase road safety and reduce emissions. Future-oriented cities like Taichung, Vienna, or Rome already rely on PTV’s real-time solution which combines innovative machine learning techniques with proven dynamic traffic modeling. Thanks to this combination, PTV Optima enables operators to manage the entire traffic network and make reliable traffic forecasts up to 60 minutes in advance. Real-time traffic management through Machine Learning will also be the topic of PTV’s solution presentation, held by Dr. Ing. Lorenzo Meschini, Vice President Product Management & Engineering Real-Time at PTV Group, within the summit program (Wednesday, 30 March, 12.30 a.m. summit theatre).
Demo with Bosch: Emissions calculations in PTV Vissim
Another highlight at PTV’s stand includes PTV’s cooperation with Bosch for better air in cities: By integrating precise emissions data from Bosch into the traffic simulation tool PTV Vissim, the effects of planned traffic measures on vehicle emissions can be easily evaluated. Eric Lindzus, Product Owner Air Quality Solutions at Bosch, and Jochen Lohmiller, Principal Product Manager for Micro Simulation Mobility at PTV, will present the tool in a product demonstration on Wednesday, March 30, 2 p.m. and Thursday, March 31, 11 a.m. (PTV booth).
Moreover, PTV Group will be focusing on the topic of multimodal traffic planning and EV charging infrastructure planning. Software solutions help to plan charging points in line with demand while taking power grid capacities into account.
