Aptos, a recognised market leader in retail technology solutions, today announced the hiring of transformational product leader Karthik Mani as chief product officer. In this role, Mani will oversee the company’s product management and product development organisations on a global basis.
With this appointment, Mani brings to Aptos more than 25 years of experience in delivering enterprise software and services including SaaS solutions to the world’s leading brands. Prior to Aptos, Mani served as executive vice president and chief product officer for LLamasoft, a Coupa Company. Other notable roles throughout Mani’s career include executive vice president at Avitru (now Deltek), senior vice president at Equifax, and vice president at TrueDemand Software and i2 Technologies (now Blue Yonder).
“I am excited to join Aptos at a time when the retail industry is going through unprecedented levels of reinvention and discovery,” said Mani. “With its strategic capital commitment from Goldman Sachs MBD, Aptos is accelerating investments in product innovation and fast-tracking roadmap advancements.”
“With this surge in innovation, Aptos will help redefine the future of retail technology and raise the bar for unified commerce solutions,” added Mani. “I look forward to supporting our product teams to reach new heights and deliver best-in-class business benefits to our customers around the world.”
Mani’s addition to Aptos’ executive leadership team follows other recent executive appointments, including chief executive officer Pete Sinisgalli who joined Aptos in November.
“During my previous role as chairman of the board for LLamasoft, I saw firsthand Karthik’s ability to lead teams to deliver advanced and transformative product strategies and solutions,” said Sinisgalli. “With Karthik’s energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and innate curiosity, he is the right person to push the boundaries of best-in-class software development at Aptos. We are thrilled to have him join the team, and look forward to all that he will accomplish for our business, customers and colleagues.”
