Graham Ratcliffe, Chief Technology Officer – Travel & Transport UK at Microsoft, will take to the main stage at the Microlise Transport Conference to showcase how technology is driving positive operational change across the transport and logistics sector.

In his conference address, Graham will provide real-world examples of how technology has been used to maximise safety and efficiency and understand operational performance in greater detail than ever before.

According to Graham, “Technology can empower operators to do more with existing resources and this becomes even more critical when resources are stretched or are in short supply, as has been highlighted during the current driver shortage.”

“I look forward to engaging in industry discussion and debate at the conference and to sharing my vision of the future of transport technology that can support and transform the industry.”

Graham, who has been a member of the Microsoft UK technical team for over 6 years, is currently responsible for technical leadership across key domestic travel and transport customer accounts, provides industry-specific guidance and supports large-scale transformation programs.

In keeping with the theme of technology, innovation and the future of the industry, the conference will be hosted this year by technology broadcaster and presenter Spencer Kelly, who fronts the BBC’s flagship technology programme, Click, which attracts viewers from more than 200 countries around the world.

The Microlise Transport Conference has established itself as one of the industry’s premier conferences, offering a thought-provoking and engaging programme of speakers, complimented by four workshop areas, an exhibition featuring innovative industry suppliers and the opportunity to network with an audience of over 1,000 delegates.

Attracting delegates from both managerial and operational areas across fleet transportation, regardless of fleet size, industry sector or technology usage, the one-day Microlise Transport Conference is free to attend.
