Crown Couriers, a nationwide commercial courier operator is celebrating its 30^th anniversary and reports a peak over the last six months. Attributing this significant demand largely from healthcare and retail, as a result of the pandemic, the courier company has been proud to support.

Crown Couriers started out in 1990 with just three vans and has grown to a fleet of over 800 vans, self-employed drivers and over 60 full time staff in their head office.

But one thing that hasn’t changed is Managing Director, Tim Seagers, who started the business three decades ago.

Tim Seagers, Managing Director of Crown Couriers explains, “Our core focus at the height of the pandemic was to fulfil time-critical deliveries, and provide support where it was needed most. Fortunately, we were able to continue to grow our fleet to enable us to carry out urgent same-day deliveries as and where required.”

Tim’s mission that remains to this very day is for the company be a trusted partner for businesses. Testament to that are the great customer relationships the business has built over the last 30 years.

Tim explains, “By working in partnership with our customers, we develop solutions that create operational efficiency and reduced costs; a value-added service that is helping to support businesses through a challenging year.”

To mark the occasion of their 30^th anniversary and to recognise the team for their hard work through what has been a difficult time, Crown Couriers submitted its first ever nominations to the National Courier Awards. Incredibly, both nominees were selected as winners in their respective categories.

Tim adds, “I was delighted to announce that two members of our team were chosen to receive a National Courier award. It has been an extremely difficult and challenging year for everyone within the delivery sector, and the IoC reported that the calibre of nominees from across the industry had been very high. So, it is an excellent achievement for both team members to have been presented with an award.”
