Today, One Nexus Group, a leading technology solution and professional services provider for the automotive industry, has joined forces with Vehicle Vision, part of CitNOW Group, to streamline the completion of accurate vehicle appraisals at the start and end of a hire period. As a result of the partnership, One Nexus Group, its customer hire firms and drivers will have access to Vehicle Vision’s innovative vehicle appraisal solution, Assist.
Assist enables drivers to self-appraise their vehicles, both at the beginning and end of hire. Customers use video and photographs to complete a full condition report, covering crucial areas such as tyres, windscreens, and bodywork. After completing the appraisal, the driver can be confident that the condition of the hire vehicle is reflected accurately within the supplier’s condition report.
Thousands of hired vehicles are supplied via One Nexus every month, and it’s vital that clients report pre-existing damages to avoid being subject to a claim. With Vehicle Vision Assist, a vehicle walk-around is prompted as soon as the customer hires the car, and a new link for a fresh appraisal is sent to them when the hire is coming to a close. The data from both walkarounds can be analysed to see if there is any damage and if a claim needs to be made.
This smart technology empowers drivers to conduct vehicle checks independently, reducing reliance on others and eliminating concerns about unwarranted claims when renting a vehicle.
