Leading omnichannel fulfilment company, 3P Logistics (3PL) Ltd, has renewed its cloud-based WMS contract with technology innovator Synergy Logistics.
The North West-based fully integrated third party logistics expert – which services the complete spectrum of D2C & B2B operations, including vendor led clientele for a range of aspirational brands – has signed up for a further three years of Synergy’s SnapFulfil WMS, with licensed users now standing at 50+ and managing in excess of 50,000 live SKU’s and ramping up by the month.
Operating from multiple UK fulfilment centres now spanning over 250,000 sq.ft, alongside access to an integrated global warehousing partner network, 3PL is growing a minimum 20% year on year and now servicing
100+ clients and employing in excess of 150 employees during peak periods.
3PL managing director, Ian Walker, says: “The SnapFulfil WMS is now seamlessly embedded into our operations, providing much better scalability, stability and efficiency at the heart of the business. It’s highly configurable, affordable and API friendly, and has a range of functionality specifically tailored to the needs of third party logistics – for greater accuracy and transparency, as well as cost and resource savings.
“Having come so far in recent years, our decision to extend our contract with Synergy Logistics is in fitting recognition of our partnership to date and the scale of opportunity that lies ahead. Their willingness and dedication to evolve the relationship has been visible throughout and as our system knowledge increases our hunger for efficiency enhancement grows. The SnapFulfil support team are expertly placed to help us realise all the perceived benefits.
“With frequent new product releases and cyber security a consistent priority for Synergy, we’re also able to future proof and safeguard our rapidly expanding offering for added peace of mind.”
SnapFulfil’s SPIM feature, which facilitates streamlined single order line processing of multiple products, has been particularly useful – with 3PL achieving a 100% increase in efficiency to operations for one stream of business. A challenge in relation to data purging is also being mastered via the simplicity of a replica database.
Synergy Logistics CEO, Tony Dobson, adds: “3PL is a progressive and dynamic business and right from the off we’ve enjoyed collaborating and helping them to pre-empt any conflicts and shape the rules to how the WMS best serves their wants and needs. We’re also looking forward to further realising a mutually beneficial alliance over the next 36 months and seeing how far we can push the theme of optimum operational excellence.”
