TMX Transform, the global end-to-end supply chain consultancy, has announced the appointment of Tom Fitz-Walter as Managing Director of UK and Europe, based in London, United Kingdom.

The appointment reinforces TMX Transform’s commitment to the region, which has achieved 600% growth since entering the market in 2022 – and signals a bold step forward in the consultancy’s global expansion.

Fitz-Walter brings more than a decade of TMX Transform experience to the role. As Global Executive Director – Supply Chain, he led projects and programmes for major brands including L’Oréal, Coca-Cola, Marks & Spencer and Nestle, while establishing the TMX Transform Global Centre of Excellence – a framework that connects the consultancy’s project work across all markets and gives its teams a uniquely informed, global perspective.

Fitz-Walter’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for UK and European supply chains. With businesses across the region continuing to navigate the complexities of post-Brexit trade and logistics – from the continued rise in labour shortages driving the need to automate warehouse operations, to setting up European distribution facilities and redesigning cross-border network strategies – TMX Transform is well positioned to offer clients not only local expertise, but insight drawn from working with leading retailers and brands across Asia-Pacific, North America and beyond.

While TMX Transform’s UK growth has been supply chain-led, increasing client demand across property strategy, project services and operational transformation reflects the same pattern of expansion seen across APAC and North America – where the full breadth of the consultancy’s integrated capability is now well established.

In the UK, TMX Transform works with a number of major brands, including Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer, Royal Mail and Coca-Cola, delivering its end-to-end service offering – from network design, DC automation, procurement and property strategy through to full implementation – the same integrated capability that has driven TMX Transform’s growth across APAC and North America.

“The growth we’ve achieved in the UK and Europe since 2022 reflects real demand for what we do – and we’re only scratching the surface of the opportunity. What we’ve seen time and again in APAC and North America is that clients who engage us for supply chain quickly recognise the value of bringing property, project and operational services together under a single partnership. That integrated model is what drives outcomes – and it’s what we’re building in the UK. Tom has been instrumental in establishing that capability globally, and his move to lead the UK and European business is a natural next step. With his leadership, we’re committed to giving clients across the UK and Europe access to the same end-to-end capability and global intelligence that has made us the partner of choice for some of the world’s leading organisations,” said Travis Erridge, CEO, TMX Transform.

TMX Transform’s consulting model differentiates itself through former practitioners who have held senior supply chain positions at major brands. The consultancy’s approach extends beyond strategy development to hands-on execution and change management, ensuring transformation objectives are achieved.

“The UK and European market represents an enormous opportunity, and we’re already making moves to build the team to seize it. Our model is built on assembling a technical expert team with deep local knowledge – that’s the recipe that has driven our success with major brands across Asia-Pacific, and we’re bringing that same formula here. What sets us apart is our true end-to-end capability – from supply chain strategy through to implementation – underpinned by our proprietary simulation methodology. We’ve proven this approach globally, and we’re now putting it to work for clients across the UK and Europe,” said Tom Fitz-Walter, Managing Director of UK and Europe, TMX Transform.

Globally, 70% of TMX Transform’s clients are repeat customers, a testament to the success of the company’s consulting model. TMX Transform’s senior consultants are backed by a network of 200 global technical specialists.

Looking ahead, TMX Transform UK is actively expanding its local team, with a focus on recruiting experienced practitioners across supply chain, property and project services from the UK and European market. The appointments will strengthen the consultancy’s on-the-ground capability and reinforce its commitment to building a team that combines global expertise with deep regional knowledge – and the global intelligence to transform it.
