Brad Peters, SVP and General Manager of Birst, an Infor company, said, “We’re proud to be recognized by Ventana Research as an Overall Leader for Mobile Analytics and BI. Today’s data-savvy workforce is centered around mobility. Smartphones and tablets have untethered people from their desks, and every day important business decisions are made when not sitting in front of a computer. Birst Mobile gives employees access to insights anywhere they go, connected or offline.”

Birst Mobile is built using the same industry-leading, cloud-based SaaS infrastructure of the Birst networked business analytics platform, so deployment is simple and secure. It leverages the mobile device’s rich interactivity and native gestures to provide a truly engaging and intuitive experience.

Birst Mobile employs a “design once, use everywhere” approach. Using responsive design, Birst Mobile automatically adjusts the layout of a dashboard to ensure the content fits the device on which it is viewed. Birst Mobile also offers offline interactivity so users can continue to explore their data in remote areas or in buildings where WiFi is not available.

According to the Ventana Research Value Index report, “Birst’s best rating is in Adaptability, where it ranks first due to the product’s flexible deployment and configuration options, including white-labeling applications for a custom look-and feel.”

“Birst provides native applications for iOS and Android, both of which include the ability to operate offline,” the report stated. “These applications offer good interactivity and collaboration capabilities such as sharing views.”

The Ventana Research Value Index reported also noted that, “Birst Enterprise is designed to be easily integrated into the existing infrastructure, applications and processes.”

The Ventana Research Value Index for Mobile Analytics and Business Intelligence is based on a comprehensive examination of 15 vendors’ products in seven evaluation categories, five that evaluate the products’ ability to support the breadth and depth of business needs around analytics (Usability, Manageability, Reliability, Capability and Adaptability) and two that address vendor validation and total cost of ownership/return on investment (Vendor Validation and Total Cost of Ownership and Return on Investment, TCO/ROI). The 2019 Value Index for Analytics and Business Intelligence identifies the companies that deliver the highest value based on an overall weighted evaluation.

Birst is a cloud BI and analytics platform that helps organizations understand and optimize complex business processes in less time than traditional solutions. Built with patented automation and machine learning technologies, Birst’s “networked BI” approach connects teams and applications across the enterprise via a trusted network of analytics, delivering insights that help companies make smarter decisions by delivering a comprehensive view of their business.
