Command Alkon CTO Named Enterprise Finalist in Alabama CIO of the Year Awards

Command Alkon, the leading Supplier Collaboration Platform for Construction’s Heavy Work, announces that CTO and VP Engineering, Charles Evans, has been named as a finalist for the 2019 Alabama CIO of the Year ORBIEÒ Awards in the Enterprise category. The CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards, sponsored by the Alabama CIO Leadership Association, is the premier technology executive recognition program in the US. Charles was chosen for demonstrating excellence in technology leadership; leading the development of new products and technologies, while further enhancing the business value derived from Command Alkon’s current suite of world-class products.

Charles has been instrumental in setting the direction for Command Alkon’s Supplier Collaboration Platform and associated products that bring digital transformation to contractors, suppliers, haulers and bulk material producers in the construction industry.

Finalists will be recognized at the Finalist Reception and Executive Dinner on March 19, 2019. Charles is one of five finalists in the Enterprise category. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on May 3rd in Birmingham. The Alabama CIO Leadership Association (AlabamaCIO) consists of members from prominent Alabama organizations who meet to share ideas, best practices and experiences relevant to top technology leaders.
