BIXOLON Europe GmbH, a subsidiary of BIXOLON, the global manufacturer of advanced receipt, label, and mobile printers, has today announced that its SRP-Q300K printer is being used in the self-service kiosks of Serbia-based POS and self-service kiosk solutions provider pos4all, across Serbia.

As demand continues to rise for retail automation and self-service offerings, pos4all wanted to develop a compact self-service kiosk to deliver continuously reliable performance in retail and hospitality environments. To achieve this, the company required a printer with a slim, modern design and the flexibility to support freestanding, countertop and wall-mounted installations. The printer also needed to be able to maintain consistent functionality and user experience.

When the design was confirmed, a technical challenge pos4all faced was integrating a high-performance receipt printer into the limited internal space of the kiosk without compromising speed, reliability or ease of maintenance.

To address this challenge, BIXOLON’s SRP-Q300K cube-style printer was selected. It was supplied through BIXOLON’s distribution partner, KimTec Group. The solution offers the ideal balance of compact dimensions, performance and reliability needed for demanding retail environments with high transaction volumes, while also integrating easily with the kiosk’s hardware and software architecture, including a PHILIPS LCD touch screen and Windows II IOT. In addition, BIXOLON’s printer supports fast and simple paper replacement and offers multiple communication interface options for flexible system integration.

Over two years, pos4all has deployed these printers across 80 kiosks, with the integration has supported reliable operations and consistent performance.
