TP-Link, a leading global provider of consumer and business networking products, today announces the appointment of Raj Lama as Business Development Manager to drive the organisation’s goals to service the Public Sector.
Lama joins the business with a career spanning 20 years at prestigious ICT solution providers including XMA, Academia and European Electronique. He has been engaged in the Public Sector environment for many years, notably Education and Local Government, working on high profile projects for organisations such as Multi Academy Trust, Further Education Colleges and Councils. His industry experience includes Infrastructure, AV, Managed Print, Client Devices, CCTV, Software Deployment, Managed Services and Professional Services.
Commenting on his new role, Lama said: “It’s exciting to join the TP-Link team, the brand has a phenomenal pedigree, not least being recognised by IDC as the world’s leading WiFi manufacturer for the last 10 consecutive years. The product range is a great fit for the Public Sector, its feature rich and backed with the lifetime warranty and a local support team which gives stretched ICT professionals the peace of mind that their infrastructure is in safe hands. It’s my goal to ensure TP-Link is front of mind when Public Sector organisations start thinking about wireless and networking infrastructure. I can’t wait to catch up with customers again personally, virtually, at trade shows and conferences to showcase TP-Link solutions and products,” he continued.
“We’re delighted to welcome Raj to our growing UK team, he has a proven track record of delivering solutions for Public Sector organisations. He understands the unique pressures this sector faces and we believe his insights and experience will be instrumental in growing our footprint in the sector,” commented Will Liu, Managing Director, TP-Link UK. This appointment follows shortly after TP-Link’s recent appointment of Kalam Meah as ISP Director for the UK, as the company continues its commitment to providing best in class wireless and networking products to customers across the region.
