SAP® consulting firm Absoft has achieved a 16% / £1M increase in sales year-on-year and a record January ’23 sales figure of nearly £2M, highlighting their success in supporting, migrating, integrating and optimising SAP solutions on Azure cloud platforms.
Since its foundation in 1991, the UK-based consultancy has committed itself to transforming its customers’ business processes and financial well-being through the delivery of SAP software, support, managed services, and cloud migration services based on its combined in-house skill set that ensures transparency and operational efficiency.
In 2022, Absoft continued to nurture and drive these elements of the business, resulting in three major customer wins in the oil and gas sector, cementing Absoft’s domain expertise in this key vertical. These wins were underpinned by ongoing contract renewals for major clients in the manufacturing and food manufacturing sectors, as well as retail and hospitality.
For 2023, Absoft will aim to continue to focus on three top service lines – ongoing support for SAP customers, management of S/4HANA implementations / migrations, and supporting its customers through mergers and acquisition (M&A) activity.
Typically, the data migration process can add costs, compromise data confidentiality and place significant demands on both IT and business across both organisations. To overcome this, Absoft will be deploying key functionality to its customers within the M&A space. In addition to facilitating the movement of data between SAP systems, Absoft’s pioneering DATAMA tool embraces a new approach to data migration as part of its proprietary tool set.
In addition, SAP’s cloud-first model has fundamentally changed the approach to software implementation for 2023. With Absoft supporting its new ‘no customisation’ / ‘adopt not adapt’ strategy, companies can not only fast track implementation but also avoid the costs and complexities associated with upgrading customised solutions.
Whether organisations select SAP’s standard Software as a Service (SaaS) S/4HANA in a public cloud environment, or the Private Cloud Edition (RISE) of S/4HANA, where companies can choose a hyper-scaler – Google, AWS or Azure – to provide the hosting service, Absoft can facilitate continuous improvement for its clients.
Don Valentine adds, “In 2022, Absoft remained successful by investing our time in really getting under the skin of our clients’ business needs, and guiding them through both existing and new challenges they faced. At Absoft, we’re continuously perfecting our learning and development by undertaking training and gaining certifications on the latest technologies. With our in-house expertise across many sectors, and in Azure, we are helping more and more companies embrace their vision for the future – something that we see as a key focus for 2023.”
