The first milestones have been reached: Together with inconso, the polymer specialist REHAU Group has started the implementation phase of SAP TM. In Poland, Austria and Brazil, the transport management system has already successfully gone live. Further rollouts will follow for standard processes that REHAU will establish across locations over the next few years.

With this large-scale logistics project, the REHAU Group is aiming for completely digitized planning and control processes in transport logistics. At the same time, the polymer specialist will use a uniform solution based on the SAP TM based template to implement comprehensive standards in transport logistics processing. The continual growth of the REHAU Group, whose logistics network comprises over 170 locations, over 40 plants and over 110 sales offices worldwide, makes this necessary.

SAP TM was integrated in Poland with comprehensive support from inconso’s software experts to ensure the smooth go-live of the system. However, REHAU was able to carry out follow-up implementations in Brazil and Austria mostly on its own. Further rollouts will follow successively for process optimizations, which will affect individual locations as well as the entire logistics network of the REHAU Group.
