Vizibl, the world’s leading digital procurement platform for Supplier Collaboration and Innovation, today announced the appointment of its new CEO, Richard Hogg. Richard is taking over the reins from founder Mark Perera, who will transition into a board-level advisory role, remaining an active participant in the business as he continues to support the leadership team. As the new CEO of Vizibl, Richard is responsible for leading the business through its next wave of growth.

Richard brings over 20 years of deep enterprise SaaS and procuretech experience, enabling Vizibl to hit its ambitious targets and realise its full potential in the coming years. Passionate about the role Supplier Collaboration & Innovation plays in strategic procurement, Richard will further Vizibl’s chief objective of enabling its roster of enterprise clients to better leverage their supplier relationships. In doing so, Vizibl is helping complex organisations deliver on their most ambitious objectives – whether that’s taking joint action towards ambitious sustainability targets, bolstering resilience, discovering new revenue streams, or developing innovative products and solutions.

Richard comments: “This is a pivotal time to be joining Vizibl. With mounting, widespread challenges to the success and longevity of global enterprises, it is absolutely crucial that large organisations work more effectively with stakeholders in their value chain in order to deliver on their strategic objectives around sustainability, transformation, and growth. Vizibl has led the market in enabling that collaboration, and I look forward to building upon the excellent work that Mark and the team have accomplished thus far as we continue to support our customers in securing competitive advantage over their peers.”

Throughout his career, Richard has built a strong reputation for his ability to drive results, his strategic thinking, and his customer-centric approach. He is a strong advocate for leveraging technology to help businesses solve complex problems, and he has deep procurement and supply market experience. Having led implementations across private and public sector procurement himself, Richard intimately understands the challenges facing procurement organisations today, and is committed to helping them achieve their goals around sustainability, risk and resilience, growth, and transformation.

After gaining an honours degree in engineering from the University of Manchester, Richard’s professional career has included leadership roles with Achilles Group, and general management roles with BravoSolution (acquired by JAGGAER in 2017) and Scoutbee. During this time he has supported growth phases across EMEA with BravoSolution, JAGGAER, and Achilles.

Remaining in an advisory capacity to provide vision, market expertise, and leadership insights, Mark Perera comments: “Richard brings a dedication to customer experience, combined with operational rigour and deep knowledge of scaling procurement SaaS offerings. This combination will be invaluable as we continue to deliver strategic solutions to our global enterprise clients. I will be remaining active in the business to continue to amplify our mission, vision, and position in the market, supporting Richard and his goals for the business.”

Constantly innovating, earlier this year Vizibl announced its ‘Decarbonisation as a Service’ offering, which helps customers move quickly from emissions measurement towards taking decisive action. The service enables Vizibl customers to get fast access to Vizibl’s existing Supplier Sustainability Management solution for a cohort of suppliers that represent the vast majority of their scope 3 emissions, and to take these relationships into the wider Vizibl application where they can collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers alike on emissions reductions. The offering also includes regular access to Vizibl’s expert enablement team, ensuring that customers and their suppliers are supported at every stage of their journey to net zero.
